Founder & Family Nurse Practitioner | Pathway to Care

My journey in healthcare began more than 11 years ago. Each patient and every season of care has shaped the provider I am today—and strengthened my belief that quality healthcare should feel personal, accessible, compassionate, and centered around the individual.

Experience Guided by Purpose.

I began my career in nursing and continued advancing my education and clinical experience, ultimately earning my Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Today, I practice as an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Florida, providing independent patient care within my scope of practice.

Throughout my career, I have served across diverse healthcare settings in roles involving direct patient care, advanced practice nursing, healthcare leadership, patient education, and clinical nursing education. Seeing healthcare from multiple perspectives has reinforced how meaningful it is for patients to have a provider who truly listens.

In addition to caring for patients, I serve as a nurse educator and clinical adjunct, helping prepare future nurses for the profession. Teaching has strengthened my belief that education is an essential part of healthcare. I want my patients to understand their health, their treatment options, and the reasoning behind the decisions we make together.

Listen first. Treat the whole person. Educate without judgment. Create a plan that makes sense for the individual in front of me.

That philosophy—along with my experiences as a nurse, nurse practitioner, educator, and leader—became part of the foundation for Pathway to Care.

Why I Created Pathway to Care

Healthcare Should Feel Clearer, Closer, and More Human.

Throughout my career, I have seen healthcare from many perspectives—at the bedside, as a nurse practitioner, as an educator, and as a healthcare leader. One thing has remained consistent: people need healthcare that is easier to navigate and a provider who makes them feel heard, respected, and supported.

I chose the name Pathway to Care intentionally because healthcare is rarely a single appointment or a straight line. Every patient is somewhere along their own path.

For one person, that pathway may begin with an unexpected illness. For another, it may mean gaining control of a chronic condition, focusing on prevention, understanding abnormal lab results, improving overall health, or finding a provider they feel comfortable turning to when they need care.

Pathway to Care represents meeting patients where they are, understanding where they want to go, and providing the guidance, education, and clinical support needed along the way.

I created this practice as an alternative to healthcare that can sometimes feel rushed, complicated, or disconnected. My vision is to combine clinical knowledge with accessibility, education, compassion, and genuine human connection—using telehealth and modern healthcare tools to make receiving care more convenient.

Pathway to Care is not about creating one path and expecting every patient to follow it. Every person’s health, circumstances, concerns, and goals are different—and their care should reflect that.

My Approach to Your Care

Care Built Around You.

When you become a patient of Pathway to Care, I want you to feel like an active participant in your healthcare, not simply another appointment on a schedule. My approach begins with listening.

01

Listen First

Your concerns, experiences, priorities, and questions deserve space to be heard.

02

Explain Clearly

Your care and recommendations should be communicated in language you can understand.

03

Plan Realistically

Treatment plans should reflect your health, circumstances, goals, and everyday life.

04

Partner With You

Shared decision-making keeps you informed and involved in your pathway forward.

I believe patients deserve the opportunity to explain what they are experiencing, ask questions, understand their options, and participate in the decisions that affect their health. That means discussing the reasoning behind recommendations, developing realistic treatment plans, and recognizing that your health is influenced by more than what appears in a medical chart.

I believe strongly in patient education and shared decision-making. My role is not simply to tell you what to do. My role is to provide clinical guidance, help you understand your options, answer your questions, and work with you to determine an appropriate pathway forward.

Whether you come to Pathway to Care for an acute concern, preventive care, chronic disease management, medication management, weight management, lab review, or another healthcare need, my goal remains the same: to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want your health to be.

Because there is no single pathway that works for every patient.
There is your pathway.

Your Health. Our Mission. Your Pathway.

Let’s Move Forward Together.
